This entry will remain at the top of my character journal. I encourage people to give me constructive criticism on how I play Naoji. I realize it is an AU community, but I do wish to do this character justice.

I do not want flames, please point out the good as well as the bad, and be courteous in doing so. We're all adults here. ^_^

Mykonos is much different than I thought it would be. I have read the literature of Homer, studied ancient Greek philosophy and read the many mythical tales around the deities of Olympus, but being here brings it all to life.

I am still getting used to the climate. I am no longer used to the heat after living in Germany for so many years, though Japan has it's own humid summers. I am sure I will get used to it in time.

As much as I long to go back to Japan, I feel I must stay here for now. The letters from my father have been more frequent as of late, and he writes that the Tokugawa have fallen to the Imperialists. It seems as though he is pleased with the outcome, though I am not sure. I hope the emperor brings order to the country quickly. Perhaps then I can return.
